Johnston Ridge - timber blowdown
The lateral blast moved across the landscape hugging the topography. Here we see downed timber on the next ridge to the north from the Johnston Ridge Observatory. After sweeping across Johnston Ridge, the blast moved down into the valley of South Coldwater Creek, then uphill again onto this ridge.
